Dining Associate - FWS

THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO FEDERAL WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE, ACTIVE UC MERCED STUDENTS ONLY. 
 
Under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 employees are required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States (a list of acceptable documents to establish eligibility can be found here)

PHYSICAL WORK LOCATION: On Campus
 
Description:
The Dining Associate position within Dining Services will be hired and assigned to work in Residential Dining operations, which includes Pavilion and Yablokoff-Wallace Dining Center. Within the operation that you are hired for, this entry level student position will assist with food preparation, cooking, dishwashing, cashiering, cleaning & sanitizing, bussing and other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:
• Must be a UC Merced student with at least 1 years left before graduating
• Good balance of coursework so that you can commit to at least 14-18 hours per week (maximum hours per week are likely but not guaranteed for this position)
• Flexible schedule, must be available to work weekends
• Ability to take direction and adhere to training guidelines
• Positive attitude, team player
• Ability to work independently

*Will receive Food Handler Certification upon employment
