Dining Center Student Worker
THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO ALL ACTIVE UC MERCED STUDENTS (INCLUDING FEDERAL WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE).
Under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 employees are required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States (a list of acceptable documents to establish eligibility can be found here)

Description:
Various Dining Center Student Worker positions within Dining Services will be hired and assigned to work in either the Pavilion or the Yablokoff-Wallace Dining Center in one of the following positions:
-Dining Associate
-Student Cook
-Dishwasher
-Custodian
-Receiver
Placement will depend on experience and availability. You will be hired for a specific position and placed in a Dining Center during new hire training.
Qualifications:
• Must be a UC Merced student with at least 1 years left before graduating
• Good balance of coursework so that you can commit to at least 14-18 hours per week (maximum hours per week are likely but not guaranteed for this position)
• Flexible schedule, must be available to work weekends
• Ability to take direction and adhere to training guidelines
• Positive attitude, team player
• Ability to work independently
• Related experience is preferred but not required
*Will receive Food Handler Certification upon employment
